A summary of the HSE Construction Division's plan of work for 2010/11 has been published.  It will target the following sectors:   Asbestos removal licence holders (inspection of licensed work), small sites refurbishment, home build and major projects.  Five key issues will be considered at all site visits by the inspect.......

Asbestos Awareness:  The HSE is continuing its asbestos campaign through 2010 and a number of the larger employers are insisting on refresher asbestos awareness courses for its sub contractors.  We can conduct these courses for you at your workplace or at our training centre in N Shields.  We also conduct courses for our railway customers with steam traction. We can also cover this with a toolbox talk if required.  For more information get in touch.
