Health and Safety Executive have released a statement on Linkedin regarding reports of emails being issued to businesses, claiming to be the HSE notifying of an upcoming scheduled inspection to the premises. 

This scam nothing new and is usually used in an attempt to attain money from your organisation. 

The HSE have advised that if you do receive an email as such, to ensure that the email address is a genuine @hse.gov.uk email address. 

If not, then it is not genuine.

As always, we do ask our customers to inform us should they receive any correspondence from the HSE but if you are unsure about anything please do ask.
