Last week, Ian conducted a Fire Door Inspector’s Training course in North Shields at the Royal Quays Business Centre. 

This consisted of the introduction of theory and practicals of the inspection of fire doors to comply with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005.

The course is perfect for anyone who wishes to become a fire door inspector or for experienced fire door inspectors to refresh their knowledge and skills following the recent legislation changes in January 2003.

No formal qualifications are required and this course provides you with the knowledge and skills to inspect fire doors.

Fire doors must be inspected annually by a competent person and this is an excellent way of saving money in-house if your business premises have a lot of fire doors.
